This marketer is in your face, pushy, knocking on doors, chasing them down, blast copy and paste posting and messaging, not wanting to hear their story...all this marketer wants to do is line them up to sign them up.  

"ALIENS MADE ME DO IT"

This marketer goes from being a normal human to awkward marketing alien not knowing how to interact, how to post or how to communicate with their following who's actually wanting to know more.

"CLULESS"
This fully capable marketer signs up for their business and then immediately forgets how to even turn on their computer let alone how to navigate through social media.

"A DEER IN HEADLIGHTS"

Analysis paralysis keeps this marketer from doing anything. Everyday they say, "I need to post" or "I know I can do this" but they just don't do it and instead get lost in the scroll of social media ideas and excuses.

"CHASING SQUIRLS"

Social media makes it hard to not be distracted....

Or are you just closing your eyes and crossing your fingers hoping that your social media marketing is going to work?

This is the just "post" and hope a sale will come of it approach. 

This approach rarely works, because there is no plan, there is no follow through and there really is no belief that something will come of it.

I was the LAST of my friends to join Facebook. I was (still am) a very private person and I didn't feel super comfortable about posting "my life" publicly.

Plus, didn't understand why people would care about what I was doing or thinking...

But I kept hearing about how great social media could be for business and marketing and it was FREE, so I joined! 

And the first thing I did was put my business ALL OVER MY WALL. I even changed my banner to reflect my company name which now I know is the WRONG thing to do.

I'm not a millineial, I didn't grow up with social media and prior to my business I was not even on social media. 

I didn't know what or how to post to get my following to pay attention to what I had. I did not want to come off as salesy but I didn't know any other way.

So of course I scared all my leads away. When I first started marketing, all the people who were initially interested ghosted me and even people who would respond to stuff before, just stopped engaging all together.
